Oklahoma City Memorial Museum
Like the response to the event it was meant to commemorate, the creation of the Oklahoma City National Memorial has been a cooperative effort involving many people and all levels of government. In the Memorial Mission Statement, the Task Force called for the creation of a memorial to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever - in short, all who were touched directly or indirectly by the bombing.
Myriad Botanical Gardens
The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre botanical garden and interactive urban park located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on the southwest corner of Reno and Robinson. Check out this beautiful spot right in the heart of downtown OKC!
The Park, located south of Myriad Botanical Gardens, continues south close to the shore of the Oklahoma River. Featuring a variety of engaging experiences for visitors including ornamental gardens and woodlands, a 3.7 acre lake, children’s playground and water fountains, seasonal roller rink, dog park, picnic grove, restaurant and performance stage and great lawn, the Park has something for everyone.
